Brian Eanes

Speech Director

Brian Eanes is a graduate of Churchill High School, The University of Texas at Austin (B.A. - Plan II), and The Pennsylvania State University (M.A. - Art History). He is beginning his 21st year of teaching in the North East Independent School District, and his 4th year at Reagan High School. In that time, he has coached state champions in Duet Acting, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp, Dramatic Interp, Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, and Poetry. He has coached multiple national finalists, most recently third place in Humorous Interpretation at the 2019 NSDA National Tournament. In 2017, he was inducted into the Texas Forensics Association Hall of Fame. He is proud to be the head coach of the Ronald Reagan Oral Interpretation Team.

Philip DiPiazza

Debate Director

Philip DiPiazza joined Reagan High School in the fall of 2017. He teaches English IV, Professional Communication, and coaches the Reagan Debate Team. Mr. DiPiazza has been a part of the debate community for several years as both a competitor and a coach. He was a policy debater at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2003 to 2007, advancing to the top 32 at the CEDA national competition during his final year as well as being a member of the first team in UTSA's history to qualify to the prestigious NDT championship tournament. He received a BA in Humanities and spent several years teaching speech and debate at Saint Mary's Hall in San Antonio. In the 2013, Mr. DiPiazza returned to UTSA as the assistant debate coach until 2017. His teaching methods emphasize critical thinking, innovation, and competitive excellence.

Misti Neal

President

Misti Neal graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree and University of the Incarnate Word with a Masters in Nutrition. She has over 15 years experience as a dietician, and loves to cook and travel. Misti is thankful for the opportunity to support the Speech and Debate Program at Reagan High School.

Leighanne Reynolds

Treasurer

Leighanne Reynolds is a proud mom of 3 kids (Cassidy, 10th / Preston, 9th / Avery 6th). She graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor in Business Management, and now manages her own personal training business. She’s a Nationally certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She currently works at the Sonterra Golf and Country Club as a fitness instructor as well as training people in their homes. She's lived in San Antonio for 5 years and adores the Stone Oak community.

Secretary

Christi Eanes is Director of Theatre at Lopez Middle School and has been a theatre educator in NEISD for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University and is proud to serve the Reagan Speech & Debate booster club.  She is also an actress and board member with The Classic Theatre of San Antonio.
